Struggled very hard to read this book and I must say though it has some important views on colonialism, decolonization and the relationships that exist, it felt repetitive. Continue this process over the course of a few days, perhaps taking breaks to walk in the park to burn off the energy you wish you could be using to fight French colonists during the late s.
Likewise for ethnic minorities, who may face very different sets of trade-offs concerning revolution against a colonial power, and who may have reason fnon fear the kind of nationalism that Fanon espouses.
My distaste for this book goes beyond what I can even begin to describe. Start with Concerning Violence and try to make it through a few pages before ripping out your hair at the injustice performed against the colonized.
