I’m not a self-help book kind of gal, and I was hesitant to read this book because I do live alone and love it–I don’t need any help in the matter.

I wake up today in my wallpapered room tucked over my neighbors’ courtyard gardens. In particular she torpedoed my illusion that my life would be so much better if only my soul mate would show up, and she made me fell very normal and c OK, so you’ve finally taken his unacceptable behaviour annd the wall, and now you’re on your own.
It provided a great deal of comfort to me to know that a woman who is so accomplished and intelligent has been in a similar situation to me and has come to love her single life.
