This is one of those fields that a curious adult without any specific training is likely to know something about, but only in bits and pieces, with some obsolete info and some outright errors mixed in.

There is also virtually no historical context given within the book, but for me, that’s fine because there’s plenty of that in other texts and a modern perspective is more of what I was looking for.
