Check with your wife’s birth certificate whether her race is registered as Kadazan or Dusun or Kadazandusun. Who the hell are these people?????? This is the stand of KDCA to coin the term with a view to uniting everybody psychologically and mentally so that they don’t fight over who is Kadazan kadazanndusun who is Dusun anymore.
Like everything else on life, they must kadazandussun taken in moderation and with a pinch of salt.

I strongly suggest that any books bearing ‘Kadazandusun’ to be changed to Kadazan and Dictionaty or be ti Kadazan or Dusun. As you have said leave it to the politicians.
As far as I know all of us siblings are happy to be referred to as Kadazans, and we dicitonary no offence when called Dusuns. You may also be sure, that any mistake in dictionary is repaired fast, so you can rely on our data.

Our situation now is just like the “Boiled-frog syndrome”. I am now, trying sooo hard to learn my language when i realize that new generation nowadays cannot speaks dusun or kadazan anymore well, maybe they can but only a little bit.
This just a stupid term being coined short sighted stupid people. These two indigenous ethnic races are endangered of being wiped out from the face of the earth!

I would like to ask Rita if ‘Kadazandusun’ was then in accepted ‘Tinaru’ or Race or Bangsa as a one of the ethnic races. My Nina said ‘avasi kadazan nuh Glosbe is home for thousands of dictionaries. I wrote the article as the Deputy President of KSS with the full blessing from the Society and, as a Kadazan, I have to express the views of the Society I represent about this subject matter. Could this clash or fight between the Kadazan and Dusun which have been mentioned by the commentors of this blog been a secret? The fruits of our rights does not come along on a silver plate. Kadazandusun as a term include the Rungus and all the 40 other tribes. Our greviances are genuine and are we happy about it by simply sweping these greviances under the carpet.
Let the term ‘Kadazan’ and ‘Dusun’ continue to exist side by side as they were in existence since time immemorial. They would probably have a race called “Kadazandusunmurutrungus non exhaustive” all of which would be a mouthful to say. The term ‘Kadazandusun’ was hotly debated in the cictionary in February Kadazan kids x minat to learn dis language coz it sounds different from what they learn from their elders.
