The scarcity of advanced techniques makes this book irritating unless dialogue is one of your weaknesses, as it feels more like remedial lessons than skill development. She introduces tools such as the Enneagram, on which I have done more research. This is a book on dialogue, so obviously kempon author is going to have a lot to say about dialogue.

I’m glad it was a quick read, and I skipped over significant portions of it, because it wasn’t worth the time it would have taken otherwise. Depending on how good a writer you are this book will either be a huge help or a waste of time.

Cialogue biggest complaint it’s to short and even though it explains the examples really well, I feel that if the book was longer it could be one section of examples and explaining them and the other trying to help you with lessons. On the other hand, it does give some good hints and tips, so I can’t give it only a one.
