If you like humour, sparkling repartee, adventure, mystery, and rapturous romance then don’t go past Georgette Heyer regency fiction. You get a nice round cast and enough people to root for. At the same time, I am so glad I re-read Cotillion. Uncle Matthew makes the whimsical decision to name Kitty as his heiress, but only if she marries one of his extensive collection of great-nephews, the offspring of cotillon assorted and much-loathed sisters’ children.
