Sedlacek calls ekohomie modern economists for their arrogance in attempting to explain virtually everything using exclusively mathematical economic models, arguing that have become just as dogmatic and unscientific as many religious people supposedly are. I’m reading it a month or so and the progress isn’t like I expected.
At times the result is florid to the point of near unintelligibly.

By the way, mathematical knowledge is not in the highest position; philosophical knowledge is. The edition of the book that I read was written originally in Czech, then translated into English. This is a difficult book to classify, and thus to review.
