Jellybean wall-power chips, who cares if an individual chip is 5mA or 9mA?

Thread starter amarpandey Start date Nov 26, Brian Roth on June 22, Each of these must be an additional digit in the code-number the salesman has to put into the order system. Forums New posts Search forums. And of course cars have colors. That’s too small for me. They will also sell you a “LM” as a naked chip, no epoxy or pins, and apparently even as a wafer of thousands of dice that you can saw-apart yourself.
And this also depends on the market. Are they now made from the same die? So really 5mA vs 8mA. What is the world coming to?
Click here to register now. Thanks for explanation Jack!
A note of additional caution: Thank You very much for teaching such a valuable lesson. If you try to buy a LM without the rest of the part number they probably won’t let you, but try it and tell us what you get. Electro Tech is an online community with overmembers who enjoy talking about and building electronic circuits, projects and gadgets. If you bake lm383 hundred, and find 3.
Or have hyper-fussy customers driven you to CYA with broader margins on published numbers? Cell-phones do have to watch every mA.
If you have die-bonding machines and wafer-saws, you should call National and find out how much alphabet-soup goes on the end of “LM Yes, it does appear that TI has replaced National’s “N” designation with a “P” designation in the several years since I wrote that. Replacement Transformer Started by ncag Today at 7: The datasheet for the LMN is the old National datasheet for the LM while the other one is the datasheet for the TI fatasheet of the same part and it was dated Julyi.
I use TL dual low noise opamps. You must log in or register to reply here. So the N suffix means it’s the “National Semiconductors” version. The LM generic web page is so guys like you get a result when typing in partial part numbers.
Replacing a 4 pin leaded inductor with a 2 pin Started by gkmaia Yesterday at By continuing to use this site, you are consenting to our datzsheet of cookies.
I had to dig to be un-ignorant about the “X” on some LM part numbers: You can’t buy a “LM” the same way you can’t buy a “Honda Accord”. Sorry if it is a stupid question. Media New media New comments Search media. Too small for my eyes, but they never made integrated circuits any bigger, and I soldered a lot of DIPs in my youth. Digikey has about of the LM with pins and many thousands with surface mount in stock.
Regarding these equivalent opampsm, if I use them on the same circuit as their counterpart, would there be needed changes on the circuit or I just simply replace them? The “N” is just the package.
I persist in my teaching.
