Long story short – the book seems to be hastily slapped together, the editor didn’t help much – for ex. An appendix would be invaluable. I read Angelology when it came out a few years ago. A mess of a book that doesn’t do justice to the richly imaginative world that Trussoni created in her first novel.

Trussoni angelopolus born in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Since angelopoois nephilim were busy corrupting all of God’s creation, Noah brought seeds as well as animals with him. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Once again, it trusaoni more like a bomb dropping out of nowhere to keep us eager for the next book, rather than like something we might expect from the action preceding it. This book picks up 10 years after the first one. If there isn’t another book, then that was a very cheap way to end it. The Nephilim are again on the rise, scheming to construct their own paradise – the Angelopolis – and ruthlessly pursued by Verlaine in his new calling as an angel hunter. The story kept trussonk going – a little Da Vinci Code-like in the movement of the plot.
Angelology received a great deal of attention prior to publication. The story jumps from character to character, place to place, with no care for smooth transition, leaving me disoriented a lot of the time. Archeology, Faberge eggs and a real life Panopticon are involved.

I can only conclude that Trussoni liked the sound of the word, and used it. The Ancestor, a literary gothic novel that explores the darker realms of ancestry and inheritance, will be published by William Morrow in It has been three years since we last saw our heroine, but in just these few short pages it was magical to see the difference and of how much she appeared to have grown – and of course, I was left feeling desperate to know more In fact, the ending just kind of happens and you are left hanging.
This is an danielel old fight that only appears to be heating up. She hints at the title theme a couple times but lets that drop somewhere in the midst of it and I’m left feeling a bit perplexed. I enjoyed it enormously.

The Fourteenth Letter Claire Evans. Rushed, info-dumpy and filled with continuity errors, this is trussoni poor followup to what was a good, if flawed, first novel.
