I’ve gotten more useful information from random videos on youtube than in that book, about both gear and filmmaking on a budget on DSLRS. I pick it up all the time.

It feels like a quality book as the pages are filled with glossy photos and charts. It would be nice if they were bigger. With this book cinenatography your guide, you are on your way to learning not only about the equipment and technology, but also about the concepts and thought processes that will enable you to shoot professionally, efficiently, and with artistic mastery.
I highly recommend this for anyone interested in cinematography or film-making in general.
