My three star rating is based essentially on the form of the book, not the content, but the way in which the content is comprised; the raw composition of the material, which is so totally dense in its original state, and not really organized in any sense other than the order in which it was written, doesn’t really work as a book.
Proofs that previously I did not include this book in my eternity, or had not pushed on far enough ahead to have an intuitive glimpse of the eternity that necessarily includes this book as well. Kafka was reading Kierkegaard ‘s Fear and Trembling during the time he wrote in these notebooks.
