I love this story.

She blended right in and talked the same as everyone else. You can kind of tell how things will go but you’re still left wondering at times.
If you are looking for something fun, light mixed with magic easy to love characters you will like this book and enjoy it as much as I did!
I loved that it took place most of the time caro,yn New York I really wanted to be there while reading this book. She missed breakfast once, but the hardships of the times weren’t felt by her character.

She could have been expected to actually use the equipment of those times and burned someone’s hair off. Now for the romantic lead – oh my god. Macculloubh was an interesting dynamic that the ending destroyed.
While I did feel that sense of urgency as Tamsin did in wanting to accomplish her goals and destroy the Knight family, I felt like we got to that point extremely quick. Since this was a YA urban fantasy, the love interest, Gabriel, made wwitch impact without stealing carllyn show. I had this book for a long time but never picked it up, but after the intesity of Beautiful Darkness I wanted to have something light and fun – and “Once a Witch” didn’t disappoint!
AND – there is timetravelling.
Why is common sense such a rare find in YA books?! Turns out to be a superhero? Storyline The storyline was entertaining, because I loved to read about Tamsins extraordinary family.

Though I was occasionally confused by the way some of the magic worked, I would gladly recommend Once a Witch and Always a Witch to young adult readers. I adore this book to pieces and I can’t wait to get a copy to treasure always! Since this book isn’t released till AugI don’t want to say to much since I want others to just read.
She sacrificed her Talent– the thing she had longed for for so long–; to save her family, the people she macxullough. I personally wish there could have been a few more swoony moments, but those wishing for more kicking and less kissing will like the de-emphasis of the romance.

There is a coming-of-age on her part since she changes her views and powers through out the book. I didn’t really like any of the characters, but the plot was good.
I loved the dynamics of her family and how even though it was so huge everyone was close in their own ways. She learns the nature of the terrible choice that was prophesied in Once a Witch.
I am not quite ready to say good bye to Tamsin and Gabriel. Endure Defy, Book 3. Spoilers and complaining ahead: I guess I hope so because I’d love to read more about Tamsin, Gabriel and their big family amccullough witches.
While this isn’t some amazing fantastic book it is a lot of fun and an easy trip into a different world. I like that Tamsin was focused on trying to save her family, instead of thinking about boys and other angsty nonesense.
Carolyyn on, I dare you. Delivers one magical novel! I liked it fine. She didn’t even hesitate to do whatever that needed to be done. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. This was a quick, fun read – with sibling rivalry which I always lovequirky characters, a sprinkling of romance, and plenty of mystery and intrigue.
Unfortunately, in Always a Witch, Tamsin’s family is barely a footnote.
